I was born and raised in Warren where I attended and received all of my sacraments at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church and John F. Kennedy High School. I became a member of St. William Parish in 1983 after marrying Timothy Timko.   I worked 13 years as Assistant to the Director of Religious Education, Sr. Mary Cora Skrivan, SND.  I took over for Sister Mary Cora in 2007, when she retired.  I have been called to be a light and guide to the children of the parish in their religious studies.   In the time I have been involved with the Parish School of Religion, it has warmed my heart to watch students from Kindergarten to Confirmation take part in church activities. I am a member of the liturgy committee and the environment committee and past parish council secretary.

I married Tim in March of 1983.   We have three adult children, Stephen, in Munroe Falls, Ohio; Shawnna, in Warren, Ohio with our granddaughter, Alexa and their dog Oreo; and Emily, in Akron, Ohio with her husband Brian, his son C.J., three pugs, Otis, Mia, and Bentley and a French bulldog named Francesca.  As a family, we have been involved in many activities at the parish. All three of our children have been altar servers, active in the youth ministry, and helped in other various ways.  Tim is presently a lector and I am a eucharistic minister and our granddaughter, Alexa, is an altar server. We generally attend the Saturday evening mass and enjoy having dinner and socializing with friends after mass.

I enjoy cross stitching, bowling, reading, wine making with Tim, and spending time and sharing our wine with family and friends.  I also enjoy spending time with our granddaughter, Alexa, grandson CJ, and our grandpups. We enjoy going to different wineries, vacationing on Kelley’s Island, Ohio, taking long drives in our convertible, and spending time with our family and friends
