Gary was raised in Mecca township and attended Maplewood Schools. I met and married my wonderful wife Ellie and together we have two married children (Leeanne & Lauren) and one granddaughter (Raegan Louise). We have been members of St. William since moving to Champion in 1987. It is a pleasure to be able to serve God and the people of St. William through various activities.
My favorite quote: “If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the Problem."

I was born and grew up in Cleveland to a large Catholic family. My grandparents had sixteen children which provided me with many aunts, uncles and cousins. I was the third of seven children born to my parents. At present, I am a wife who is blessed with a wonderful husband, mother of five children, grandmother of eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. I love spending time with my family and I especially love being a grandmother.
I have been on staff as the Liturgy/Worship Coordinator at St. William for 12 years which have been a great joy to me. I have always felt that the people of St. William Parish are very special. I also serve as a Cantor, Eucharistic Minister and will gladly help out wherever there is a need. Aside from spending as much time as I can with my family and working for the church, some of my favorite extra curricular activities are cooking, gathering with friends, reading, dancing, fishing, especially in Quebec, camping and traveling.
I am an Associate of the Sisters of Notre Dame which has been an ongoing spiritual journey for me. I believe a spiritual life is extremely important--not only for me, but for all the people I encounter. Through this association I endeavor to grow in my relationship with God and perhaps I can help to make a difference in someone else’s life.
