All Souls Day Remembrance

During the month of November we remember all those who have embraced eternal life, especially in the past year.  At all Masses on October 28/29, we will remember in a special way all of our loved ones who have passed away during the past year and whose departing we continue to mourn and grieve.

First Step for Change

During October Saint William Parish will be participating in the First Step for Change program as part of our commemoration of Respect Life Month.  First Step for Change is a diocesan wide effort to collect spare change to provide food, clothing, diapers and other “baby essentials” to low-income pregnant women and families.

Last year, First Step for Change raised over $85,000.00 for our diocese.  The weekend of September 30/October 1 parishioners will be invited to take home a plastic baby bottle to collect your change during the month.  Bottles will be returned October 28/29.  This will be a parish-wide effort as part of our call and remembrance that all life is sacred during Respect Life Month.
