WHO is our presenter?

Franciscan Friar Johnpaul Cafiero, OFM, will lead our Parish Mission.  He is currently a member of the Holy Evangelists Franciscan Friary in Chicago.  He presented our Parish Mission last year and returns this year by popular demand!  Prior to joining the Franciscans, he was a former New York City police officer and currently serves as chaplain for the Illinois State Police Chicago District.  He is also a licensed counselor and therapist.  The oldest of five from an Italian/Polish family, he and his siblings are the curators of one of the largest collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia (over 25,000 items) in the country.  Friar Johnpaul is a dynamic, faith-filled and energetic speaker who provides enlightening insights about our faith and relationship to God sprinkled with humor, stories and real-life experiences.  Be sure to join us for this exciting event

WHY are we having a Parish Mission?

To renew our faith.  To contribute to the spiritual life of our parish. To respond to God invitation call to draw ever closer to Him.  To grow in our appreciation of God’s marvelous love.  To learn how to be better instruments of God’s kingdom of love, justice, and peace in our troubled world.

WHO should attend the Mission?
Every adult parishioner, as well as family, friends, and neighbors, are encouraged to attend.  This Mission will touch the heart of EVERYONE!

~ An Evening of Reconciliation

On Wednesday, February 28 our parish and all parishes in the Diocese of Youngstown will offer an “Evening of Reconciliation” from 6:30-8:00 pm.  During this time the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available throughout the Diocese as a sign for all to embrace and ive God’s mercy and love more completely.  As Pope Francis says, “the joy of God is the joy of forgiveness.”  Plan to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation as part of your Lenten journey on February 28.
